Experiencing Past, Present and Future

The name Tupperware invokes images of well-designed, colorful Tupperware products. Yet, the headquarters campus was devoid of impactful displays showcasing the product. Also missing were visual reminders of the company’s strong focus on people and its sales opportunity that has propelled many women around the world towards financial freedom. To remedy this, the objective of “infusing the brand into the workplace” was launched as part of the campus-wide renovations begun in 2010.

The first major initiative supporting this objective was the creation of a self-guided interactive exhibit, the Tupperware Brands Confidence Center. The term “Confidence” is a major piece of the company’s brand promise and refers not only to the confidence consumers have with the products, but also the confidence the company’s Sales Force Members achieve through the independent sales opportunity. The exhibit addressed the company’s Three-P’s of success - People, Product, and Party - and highlighted not only the company’s history, but also current innovations and future goals.

The idea of infusing the brand into the work environment continued throughout the rest of the campus, taking the shape of everything from environmental graphics and digital signage, to unique art pieces created by award-winning regional artists, some of which were even made from actual Tupperware products. This resulted in site-specific experiences that connect the brand, the products and the Tupperware sales opportunity to people.

Tupperware Brands Corp. World Headquarters

This modern, technology-driven exhibit in the historic mid-century modern main headquarters building, posed more than a few challenges. From a design standpoint, it was essential to assure the design was spatially literate and that technology was judiciously used to enhance the experience without competing with the building’s aesthetic. The final result offers a unique look into the past, present and future of one of America’s most iconic companies.

Branded Art Installations

Tupperware Brands Corp. World Headquarters

Tupperware is best known for unique, long-lasting, colorful products. Efforts to showcase those products had to be equally unique, and instill the same sense of timelessness. To accomplish this, award-winning regional artists were brought in to create Tupperware-inspired sculptures and artwork that would stand the test of time.
